Following up with the first Mitsubishi featured, which was Jeff’s 1997 turbo Eclipse Spyder with
many carbon fiber parts, we have another turbo Eclipse with some more carbon fiber mods. Today, I wanted to take a look at a newer Eclipse, mostly because the one’s I do see tuned, don’t have much done to them. So, why not look at a turbo Eclipse, sporting carbon fiber accessories that is tuned to perfection.
Brandon’s 2007 turbo Eclipse is a car you could see winning car shows around the world and featured as the main car in any major magazine. It’s so clean, and as you can see from the pictures, it was already featured in some intense car shows. It even made
it’s appearance at Hot Import Nights 2008 in Columbus, Ohio.
Like we started with the Jeff’s ‘97 turbo Eclipse, we’ll
start out by looking at Brandon’s Eclipse exterior modifications. He has a R-Spec carbon fiber hood, and ITZ lip-kit all the way around the car, a VIS carbon fiber trunk, and an AIT GSX style carbon fiber spoiler. The Eclipse also features a Verticle Doors Inc. kit.
All the carbon fiber does lead into the inside of the car, with a carbon fiber dash kit and carbon fiber door sills. He then has an Autometer boost gauge and an Apexi turbo timer installed on the electronic side of the car, with some Alpine type S front speakers and a 10″ subwoofer in the back.
Moving onto the engine modifications, Brandon didn’t mess around and
went for the Garret T3/T4 turbo. On the intake side o
f the engine, he has a Kinetic intercooler, Greddy Type RS blow off valve, custom aluminum and stainless piping, and an Injen intake filter. On the exhaust side of the engine, he has a custom steal, ceramic coated manifold, a custom downpipe, and a full Magnaflow exhaust with stainless exhaust pipe.
The car rides on some very slick black 18″ Motegi FF07 rims that have the
chrome lip. The car is currently running 7 psi, putting out 252 horsepower. The car caught my eye, especially with the front view of the carbon fiber hood and lip, with the lambo doors is hot!
