Last night, after going to see the new “Fast and Furious” movie, which turned out to be an awesome movie, I watched “The Fast and The Furious” original movie, the one with Don’s Mazda Rx7 Turbo, to compare both of the movies. I compared those two, just because I think those are the best two out of the 4.
Tokyo Drift was pritty good, too.
As I was watching it, I remembered Letty from the
new movie was rebuilding that Charger for Don, knowing he was going to come back. Anyways, that got me to thinking, what about women tuners? So far, we haven’t had any women featured on TurboAddict.com, so I went out in search of the best woman auto tuner I could find.
I ran across Karissa’s 1994 Mazda Rx7 turbo.
Now, here is the reason why I went to the Rx7’s to search for them. Personally, I love the Rx7. I think the
car is limitless, having so many customizing options. Plus, the car is more expensive than many other tuner cars, and the Rx7 turbo is simply one bad ass car.
Not to far into my research I found one popular Mazda Rx7 turbo. There were other women who had Rx7’s, but they either weren’t turbo’d or they didn’t have evidence of them actually tuning the car themselves. Basically, I wanted to find that woman, which got in the grease and helped build their own car. Below is the evidence which sold me.
All jokes aside, she rides on sick car. Her Rx7 has one beastly A-spec 500r turbo, with a totally rebuilt 13B motor, gives
the car around 400 horsepower! Supplementing the turbo, she’s got the Blitz Fatt turbo timer, a Blitz SBC i-D boost controller, a Tial blow off valve, Greddy R-Spec front-mount intercooler, ACT clutch kit, and a HKS Carbon/Titanium Hi-Power exhaust. While she rebuilt the motor, she also decided to put in new motor mounts to complete the rebuild.

Outside of the car, she has the 99 spec light conversion,
with the JDM 99 spec front lights. Her turbo Rx7 also has a Carbon Creations front bumper, VIS carbon fiber hood, carbon fiber fenders, and a GTR style wing. All of these parts complete one clean Rx7 turbo, sitting on the Konig Imagine 18″ wheels.
She also has a custom audio set up, featuring two
Rockford P3D412 12 Inch Punch Subwoofers, two Rockford amps, and a custom made fiberglass/carbon fiber trunk sub-enclosure.
However, the best part about it is she also takes her own photographs, for a living! She is a freelance photographer and she took all of these photos of her car. You can check out all of her photos here at Karissa Lynn Photography.
