After browsing around for Rx7’s, I had to find a turbo 350Z to feature on the site. To me, ever since Need for Speed Underground came out, I liked the style and the sound of the turbo Nissan 350Z. When The Fast and
the Furious: Tokyo Drift came out, the 350z’s featured everywhere in that movie really caught my eye.
I don’t see the 350Z like I do the Rx7 or the Supra. To me, the 350Z is a higher status, more relaxed, and more luxury. It is meant for those people out there to make a statement, without having to add too much to the car to make it a beast.
So when I went searching for the 350Z, I found Kevin’s single turbo Nissan 350Z. This car just means business, as it has deep tints, 20″ deep dished rims, and a clean
custom molded body kit. When you look at this car, you think of power, comfort, and aerodynamics. All these features combined make an impression such as Kevin’s 350Z.
Starting with the goods under the hood, he has built his 350Z turbo with a Turbonetics 60 series turbo, Spearco intercooler, Turbonetics Evolution external waste gate, HKS Super Sequentia blow off valve, and straight pipe exhaust with Borla mufflers.

Inside the car, he has a custom Z sub-enclosure for his one JL Audio
10W6V2 subwoofer. His sub is powered by a Sony 900 watt amp, which gets music from a Pioneer AVIC-N1 DVD Navigation head unit, 6 CD changer, and Ipod adapter, giving this car some decent audio capabilities.
The exterior customizations all flow together, with a
hint of carbon fiber or chrome to each one. Carbon fiber can be found forming the Siebon carbon fiber hood, carbon fiber eyelids, carbon fiber “Z” taillights,
custom painted Nismo carbon fiber spoiler, carbon fiber B-pillars, and the carbon fiber air-intake duct. Chrome is featured on the 20″ deep set, Axis Shine rims with Falken tires, the trim around the headlights, and the chrome strip grill. Some other customizations like the custom molded lip kit, tinted windows following behind the carbon fiber hood, and the clear
corners placed to keep the yellow corners off of the car.
The 350Z is one car with a one of a kind, luxury, “Boss” feeling. If you were to decide to race one, especially Kevin’s 415 horsepower turbo 350Z, you better have something worth his gas, like an Rx7 or a WRX, at least. Turbo 350Z’s put out some serious power and have a clean, sexy look to go along with their performance capabilities.
