Wayne’s 2003 Turbo WRX

Wayne's turbo WRXThe other day I was watching the Speed channel and a rally race with turbo WRX’s.  That night, I went out to find a turbo WRX who had something unique and powerful.  Wayne’s 2003 Subaru turbo WRX had what I was looking for.

I can’t tell you how many Subaru WRX’s I have seen lately with dragon vinyl’s on the side, or the Subaru Impreza stars.  Personally, those scream “POSER!” to me.  The first reason I went to Wayne’s 2003 turbo WRX was because it looked clean, mean, powerful, and didn’t have those vinyls.

After further examining Wayne’s progress and work done on the car, one can definitely see he qualifies to be considered a turbo addict.  Beginning with the the turbo itself, he has the Gt 35r turbo hooked up with a Tail 38 mm waistegate, a Borla ceramic coated header, and a Xcceleration 3in. polished stainless exhaust with electric cutout to direct the exhaust out of the car.  On the intake side of the turbo, he has a Modified Magnus intake manifold sucking air from a Aps 725 front mount intercooler, with the nitrous chiller.

The engine also has Calico coated bearing, Power Enterprise super strong II timing belt, a Hyperflow racing oil pump and oil cooler, RC engineering 1000cc injectors, Aps fuel rail, and much… much more, all completing the engine of the car, helping to create its 450+ horsepower, running 20 lbs of boost.

Inside the car, he has a Cusco roll cage, A custom sub-enclosure with two Diamond Audio subs, NRG carbon fiber bucket seats, and all the necessary gauges to keep track of everything under the hood.

The exterior is clean and organized to look mean!  The carbon fiber hood Wayne put on this turbo WRX has enough ventilation to keep the motor clean, while making it look beastly.  Going smoothly with the hood is the full Wings West body kit, with the OZ Racing wheels wrapped in Toyo tires.

Behind the wheels are Rotora six piston calipers on the front and four piston calipers on the back, all cushioned by JIC Magics FLT-A2 coilovers.

This car is such a beast because it is known to be able to go throw many types of landscapes, making it one of the most usable cars with its 4 wheel drive, turbo power.   Wayne’s turbo WRX is truly a Subaru setting the pace for all those performance tuners, knowing quality parts and performance comes before dragon and star decals should be put on. :)
